The laboratory of applied photonics devices is involved in practical industrial applications as well as more fundamental research work. We are developing photonics devices that control light at the nano and microscopic scale to engineer applied systems at the macroscopic scale. For example, we use holographic structures in polymer and glass materials to manipulate light.
